Girls Night Out at NuMetro Cinemas

I am an avid movie goer and particularly fond of the chick flick ladies night. Last night I attended Girls Night Out at NuMetro in the V&A Waterfront. I always expect the girls night to be fun but I had no idea it would prove to be this amazing. The event was organised by The Little Black Book PR and Events company and was nothing short of spectacular.

On arrival, ladies were welcomed with glasses of wine and cupcakes served by topless waiters. There were many sponsors present who made sure the ladies were entertained. The Wings Group provided us with tons of Hula Chips and chocolate treats which was divine.

Vitamin Water had an innovative way of handing out their products; the vitamin water app. You would simply touch an iPad App with your thumb and the mood scanner would scan your mood and generate what flavour Vitamin Water you would get. It was a really cool concept. There was also a stall exhibiting jewellery that was absolutely to die for.

When we made our way into the theatre, the fun had just only begun. We were spoiled by a lingerie show featuring some very sexy models which got the girls hearts racing.

A few lucky prizes were handed out, sadly I didn't win anything. The last prize was a full day spa voucher at Suntra Spa. The person who could sing the best Whitney Houston song would win, naturally my friend Elena gave it go and seriously kicked ass. Unfortunately, we had another diva in our midst, who waltzed in and stole the light. Nevertheless it was a very fun evening.

Girls Night Out is about the movie after all. We watched This Means War starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy. It was an amazing movie which deserves an 8/10. So, if you looking for something fun to do with your girls from time to time, make a booking for Girls Night Out, its definitely worth it.
